Career has been prominent since the beginning of the year. But now, on the 20th, you enter a yearly career peak. The 10th house stands for the strongest house this month, with half of the planets either there or moving through there. The 4th house of home and family, by contrast, is free of charge (only the moon will move through there on the 7th and 8th). So maintains focus on career and downplay family issues. A lot of progress will be done this month. A yearly career peak doesn’t mean that every career objective is achieved however. Career is a long-term project and in many cases it is never ending. So we never achieve all our goals in one month or one year. However, if good progress is made, this is success. You will get closer to your ultimate goals by the end of the month than you were at the month’s beginning.
It is interesting that your yearly career peak coincides with a solar eclipse. This indicates career changes for many of you. Those of you born early in the sign of Cancer (June 21–23) hardest hit by this eclipse, and if you are part of this category take it nice and cool during this. If stressful activities or appointments can be re-scheduled, it might be a good idea to get involved. Those of you born later in the sign of cancer will feel the effects of the eclipse, but less violently.
The eclipse occurs right on the border or cusp of your 9th and 10th houses. Thus, the affairs of both houses are affected. For students, this can be defined as change of school or upheavals in the neighboring school or college. There are disturbances in your place of worship too. There can be dramas in your industry or company and in the lives of bosses, parents, parent figures or authority figures in your life.
As Uranus has been in your 10th house for many years now, you are taking place for career changes and instability. This eclipse will therefore be easier to deal with.
Every solar eclipse affects your financial life, as the Sun is in your financial planet. This eclipse is nothing definite. It brings financial changes – changes in thinking and strategy. Generally this happens through some disturbance or crisis. We don’t normally change our ways unless we are under an obligation to. The changes will remain in effect, but they are not particularly pleasant while they’re happening.
