Job opportunities have been abundant all year and many of you landed very respectable jobs in the past year. If not, the prospects for the month ahead are always excellent.

Finances are good but complicated this month. Venus, your financial planet, spends most of the month in your 12th house, signalling good financial intuition and a good understanding of the spiritual dimensions of wealth. You are more generous with your money this month, more charitable. In general, you spend more freely (you cannot afford to). On the 19th Venus crosses the ascendant and enters your 1st house – a very sound fiscal aspect. Venus actually camps out on the Ascendant from the 19th onwards. Family and your emotional well-being are important, but now is the time to focus on the career. On the 21st, you enter a yearly career peak. This is what you make the most progress for the year. Perhaps you won’t attain your career goals in their entirety, but you will see good progress made in their fulfilment. You got closer to your objectives than you were a month ago.

The only career complication is the retrograde of your career planet Mercury on the 14th. This will not stop your development, but it will slow things down a little. Just try to get perfect in your communications – in giving or receiving instructions, in conversations with bosses. Miscommunication is the highest career danger now.

With the Sun moving through the career house from the 21st onwards you can advance your career by participating in charitable activities. We said just now that you are in a very spiritual period this year, as you were last year too. So, if you are not yet on a mystical path, this is a good time to start. Those already on such a path will make enormous progress this year. Those not involved in spirituality are likely to be more involved with drugs or alcohol – the false proxies for psychic development.

The dream life this year will be overactive and in many cases prophetic. Pay attention to your dreams; write them down in the morning when do not leave up. You are being instructed in your dreams on various important issues.

There will be increased extrasensory perception (ESP) and psychic phenomena this year. Those on a spiritual path will understand these things as they are quite common. But those not yet on a path will have what they call ‘strange coincidences’. You think of someone and five minutes later they call. You get an urge to avoid a certain road and later you find out there was just an accident there. You open a book and you find the exact page you’re looking for. The invisible world is telling you that it’s around. There’s more to life than what look at with your eyes.

Countless people feel blocked from following their dreams. In some cases, it is the lack of money, sometimes lack of connections, sometimes a feeling of lack of ability. The beauty of the spiritual breakthroughs that are happening this year is because you will see that these so-called obstructions were nothing more than beliefs you held in your mind. These are manifested as physical obstructions. When you get of these limiting beliefs, the outer obstructions disappear.

Virgo naturally gravitates to the solar approach to spirituality. The esoteric side of Christianity is especially appealing. This is a good thing that, but this year there is a need to exalt the feelings, to get the feelings engaged in the mystical practice. When you are placed in a right mood, divine contact will be easy.

The love life will go better if you go get a more realistic view of perfection. Here on Earth, perfection is not granted to us on a silver platter. It is what is to create. If love isn’t yet perfect, do things that will improve the position. Little by little you will be closer to your ideal. You will be placed on the road to perfection – and this is precisely what critical. If the love life is better today than it was yesterday, you are successful, though the idea still seems far off.

Saturn in the 4th house most of the year often show tendencies to repression of feeling. And this generally leads to depression. In many cases, you feel unsafe expressing what you really feel. Your 4th house of home and family is prominent this year – and challenging. This area is probably the most challenging in your horoscope.

Saturn moved into your 4th house very late last year and will spend most of the year ahead here (although it will retrograde back into your 3rd house for a few months). You are assuming more family responsibilities this year. The responsibilities seems heavy – burdensome – and you can’t really avoid them. You must just smile and raise the load. These responsibilities can come from children or children figures in your life. Virgos of childbearing age become unusually fertile after August 11.

There seems to be a love-hate relationship with a parent or parent figure. On the one hand, this parental figure is very devoted to you and seems generous (especially after August 11). On the other hand, he or she brings more responsibilities – and perhaps more control.

Though there will be opportunities to make progress in the coming year – after August 11 – a move doesn’t seem advisable just yet. Perhaps you feel cramped for space, but it is better to use your existing space more creatively than to move. A move seems to have been better aspects a few years down the road.
